About

MA Venkataswamy is a retired Senior Principal Scientist from the National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) and holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physics. With decades of experience in scientific research, engineering systems, and applied technologies, he has contributed significantly to the development of practical engineering solutions and scientific innovation.

He has also worked on renewable energy technologies including solar power plants and possesses extensive practical knowledge in solar and wind energy systems. His work focuses on exploring innovative concepts in micro wind turbine technology and decentralized renewable power generation aimed at developing sustainable and efficient energy solutions.

Micro Wind Mill – Clean Energy for Every Household

India is rapidly moving toward renewable energy solutions to reduce electricity costs and protect the environment. While solar energy has become popular, Micro Wind Mill technology is another powerful renewable solution that can generate electricity using wind energy.

Our mission is to make renewable energy accessible and affordable for every household in India.

Our Vision

To provide affordable micro wind mill systems within the same price range as the government solar subsidy (₹30,000 – ₹78,000) so that even rural and middle-class families can adopt clean energy.

Government Solar Subsidy & Our Initiative

The Government of India already provides financial support for rooftop solar systems through subsidy programs to promote clean energy.

However, due to increasing demand, there are challenges such as:

  • Limited solar panel manufacturing capacity
  • Installation delays in some regions
  • Higher upfront costs for some households

To support the country's renewable energy mission, we decided to introduce affordable Micro Wind Mill systems that generate electricity using wind energy.

Our goal is to provide clean, renewable energy solutions at a price range similar to the solar subsidy, making it easier for more households to adopt sustainable power.

Micro wind mills can also work alongside solar panels as part of a hybrid renewable energy system, ensuring electricity generation even when sunlight is low.

What is a Micro Wind Mill?

A Micro Wind Mill is a small wind turbine designed for homes, farms, and small businesses. It converts wind energy into electricity and can be installed on rooftops, terraces, or open land.

Unlike large wind turbines used in wind farms, micro wind mills are compact, affordable, and designed for local energy production.

Key Features

  • Generates renewable electricity from wind
  • Compact and suitable for rooftops
  • Low maintenance system
  • Long lifespan (10–20 years)
  • Environment-friendly power generation
  • Works well in rural and semi-urban areas

Affordable Pricing Plans

  • Basic System – Around ₹30,000
  • Standard System – Around ₹60,000
  • Advanced System – Around ₹78,000

These pricing levels are designed to match the typical government solar subsidy range.

Expected Benefits

  • Reduce electricity bills
  • Provide backup electricity
  • Promote clean energy usage
  • Support sustainable living
  • Ideal for farms and rural homes

Suitable Locations

  • Village homes
  • Farm houses
  • Coastal regions
  • Open land areas
  • Small commercial establishments
  • Hybrid solar + wind setups
